Static Cling

January 11th, 2010

I never remember when I lived in Jersey ever dealing with this much static. Everything is static; me, my clothes, the couch…the dogs!  I swear Zoey is going to develop a twitch because everything she touches sparks.  I’m whining to my mom over e-mail as we speak (she’s a stockbroker so there is no calling her between the hours of 9am and 4pm unless it’s an emergency).

I’m finally well enough to get back to the gym. It’s so tough after being gone to just GET there, but I know once I fall back into routine it’ll feel like I never left.  I have a new horse (well technically, pony) to ride, but not until Wednesday. I miss Jimmy (see below), but I’m sure he’ll find a great kid to love on him.

Off to run a dryer sheet over Zoey and Lucy (and I’m not kidding).  It’ll be in the high 60′s on Thursday, back in the 70′s by the weekend and then all will be right with the world (well if by world I mean the weather in Florida, that is).
